FLAVOR
Arabica Typica specialty coffee is grown in a small ethnic minority village called Đạ Sar, located in Đà Lạt City — a place with an ideal combination of a perfectly mild climate and ancient, mineral-rich volcanic soil. ALAMBÉ’s Đạ Sar coffee is known as “royal coffee” for its rarity and distinctive aroma. The flavor of Typica is truly unlike ordinary coffee, offering an intoxicating and exceptionally elegant fragrance. This product is perfect for customers who enjoy unique brewing styles such as Pour Over or French Press.

SENSORY PROFILE
ALAMBÉ Đạ Sar – Arabica Typica specialty coffee is crafted for true coffee enthusiasts who appreciate a unique aftertaste: sweet, smooth, vibrant with acidity, and a hint of citrus. We warmly invite you to experience and savor this specialty coffee, hand-roasted in small 20kg batches to perfection — sourced directly from local farmers.

ORIGIN
In 1857, the French introduced coffee to Vietnam, and by the early 20th century, the first Typica seeds were planted near the newly emerging city of Đà Lạt. Because this variety has low yield and is highly susceptible to coffee diseases, it was gradually replaced by the more productive Catimor variety. Today in Vietnam, Arabica Typica can only be found in a few isolated areas around Đà Lạt.
Đạ Sar is one of these ethnic minority villages. ALAMBÉ Đạ Sar coffee is harvested at peak ripeness and processed with precision, resulting in an exceptionally delicate floral and citrus aroma. Nestled on the slopes of Lang Biang Mountain, about 20 km from Đà Lạt, the people of Đạ Sar primarily make their living by growing Arabica coffee, including the rare Arabica Typica.
The village has also become a favorite destination for photographers, who often visit at dawn to capture the breathtaking mist-covered valley. Around 5 a.m., as the sun begins to rise, visitors are treated to a spectacular view — the thick white fog drapes the valley like a soft blanket. As the first rays of sunlight reach the plantations, locals and travelers gather to enjoy the crisp morning air and admire the vast stretches of coffee farms disappearing into the horizon.
